Michelle Jamie Melton, 29, of Kewaskum, died Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.

Born in Merrill on January 29, *2004, Michelle was the daughter of Cynthia Smith Melton and the late Charles Melton. Michelle was attending Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend for Medical transcription. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and following Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth. Her greatest joy in life was raising her two children.

Survivors include her daughter Alexandra and son Zachery, both of West Bend; her mother Cynthia Melton; Kewaskum; fiance Steve Verdien, Kewaskum; sisters Julie (Glen) Mathews; Rhinelander; and Francie (Todd) Hahn, Merrill; brother Tony (Sandy Pike) Woller, Merrill; five nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 13, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Earl Eckhart officiated.
