Alan D. Zimmerman, 73, of 303 W. Riverside Ave., Merrill, died Monday, November 22, 2004, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Alan was born June 6, 1931, in Merrill, son of the late Arthur and Anna Kriewald Zimmerman. Alan enjoyed walking, fishing, playing cards, and visiting with people.

Survivors include his sisters Bonnie Van Slate and Sandra (Donald) Grund, both of Merrill; and Sharon Zimmerman, Athens; and several nieces and nephews. Brother Kenneth and brother-in-law Mertz Van Slate precede Alan in death.

A memorial services was held Friday, Nov. 26, at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. David Klemm officiated. Burial will take place at a later date in Merrill Memorial Park.
