Maria Wagner Janssen, 98, of the town of Pine River, died Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Hospice House in Wausau.

Survivors include her daughter Louise (Reuben) Kufahl and son Fred (Ruby) Janssen, both of Merrill; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A private family funeral services was held at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home in Merrill.
