Katherine "Katie" Olson and Corey Smith, both of Eau Claire, were wed July 3, 2004, at St. Charles Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. William Felix officiated at the afternoon ceremony where music was provided by organist Katie Johnson and soloist Kari Roesler.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Karen Olson, Chippewa Falls, formerly of Merrill. The groom is the son of Scott and Lorraine Smith, Chippewa Falls.

Maid of honor was Elizabeth Olson, sister of the bride, Eau Claire; and Erik Foiles, the groom's cousin, Chippewa Falls, was best man.

Bridesmaids were Adrienne Manydeeds, Lindsey Feuling and Courtney Frederick. Flower girl was Sydney Holbach, the bride's cousin.

Acting as groomsmen were Shawn Smith Sr., Jared Smith and Luke Smith, all brothers of the groom. Shawn Smith Jr., the groom's nephew, was ring bearer.

Ushers were Andrew Olson brother of the bride, Wausau; Jesse Pukrop and Mike Krieg.

A reception was held at Ruby's Roadhouse. The pair honeymooned in Negril, Jamacia.

Katie is a 2004 graduate of UW Stout and is credit manager at Wells Fargo Financial. Corey is a student at UW Eau Claire and is employed at Charlton Inc. They live in Eau Claire.
