Marcus and Lillie Sturm of 1400 Cedar St., Merrill, celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 24, 2003, as their extended family joined them at Faith Lutheran Church, Merrill, followed by lunch at Richard's Supper Club, Wausau.

Marcus and the former Lillie Rusch were married August 22, 1936 in the old Zion Lutheran Church in the town of Maine.

Marcus farmed in the town of Maine, then owned and operated Sturm Trucking until retiring. He and his wife are members of Faith Lutheran Church, town of Maine.

The couple had three sons, Ken, who lives in Fond du Lac; Gary, who lives in California; and Don, deceased. They also are blessed with five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
