Carrie Britte, Milwaukee, formerly of Merrill, and Ray Littleton, Milwaukee, formerly of Detroit, Mich., announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The prospective bride is the daughter of Jane and Mark Weddig, Merrill, and Arvo Britten, Wausau. Her fianc-is the son of Dr. Ray and Marica Littleton, Detroit, Mich.

Carrie is a 2000 graduate of Merrill High School and is currently a senior at UW Milwaukee majoring in psychology. Ray is a 1998 graduate of Detroit Country Day. He graduated in 2002 from Yale University with a degree in economics. He currently is attending Marquette Law School majoring in civil litigation.

The couple will exchange their vows on July 24, 2005, in Detroit, Mich.
