Susan Bares, Merrill, and Joel Krause, Neillsville, announce their engagement and future wedding.

The bride to be is the daughter of Jim and Jan Bares, Merrill. The future groom is the son of Art Krause and Bruce and Clara Paszkiewicz, all of Neillsville.

Susan will graduate in December from UW Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a minor in human resources. Joel has a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education from UW Stout. He is a preschool teacher at Western Dairyland Headstart.

The couple are planning a Feb. 5, 2005, wedding.
