Duard B. 'Super' Callahan

Duard B. "Super" Callahan, 60, of the town of Rock Falls, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Merrill, son of the late Duard F. and Elizabeth (Schweigert) Callahan. He married Jolene Arndt on Jan. 15, 1966, in Merrill. She survives.

He had previously been employed in the receiving department at Merrill Manufacturing Corp., Merrill. Super's passions were bow hunting, deer hunting, playing pool, and spending time outdoors on his property.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene Callahan, town of Rock Falls; his son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Lucy Callahan, Merrill; his sister, Melody (Rodney Woller) Callahan, Merrill; and four brothers, Neil (Penny) Callahan, Merrill, Matthew (Beverly) Callahan, South Venice, Fla., and Patrick (Chris) Callahan and Clark (Bonnie) Callahan, both of Merrill.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at Calvary Lutheran Church, town of Pine River. The Rev. Mary Zupansic will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting with arrangements.
