Harry Hoffman

Harry Hoffman, 86, Merrill, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Harry worked at Ward Paper Co. for 41 years, retiring as maintenance supervisor. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, when he was stationed in Germany.

Survivors include two sons, Pat (Karen) Hoffman and Joe (Carolynn) Hoffman, both of Merrill; five sisters, Marie, Betty Ann, Millie, Florine and Judy; three brothers, Kenneth, Marvin and Roger; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Merrill. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, and Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
