Edna Clocherez

Edna Clocherez, 82, 708 Cottage St., Merrill, formerly of the town of Corning, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

During World War II, Edna worked in civil defense plants in the Chicago area. She and her husband farmed in the town of Corning. She was a part-time employee for Lincoln County Nursing Services, and a seasonal employee for Peterson-Latzig in Merrill.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert Clocherez of Merrill; one daughter, Gail (Mark) Golomski, Rhinelander; one son, Neal H. Clocherez, Merrill; two grandsons; one sister, Emily Eilers, Arlington Heights, Ill.; and one brother, Philip (Marilyn) Freitag, Anchorage, Alaska.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, town of Corning. Burial will be in Immanuel Church Cemetery, town of Corning. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and Thursday starting at 10 a.m. at the church.
