Marvin R. Hoffman

Marvin R. Hoffman, 82, W4688 Spruce Road, town of Merrill, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Good Samaritan Health Center, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Marvin was a maintenance foreman for the former Anson-Gilkey Company in Merrill.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Hoffman, Merrill; daughter, Lynn Reichelt, Merrill; son, Marvin (Linda) Hoffman, Merrill; three granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; two step-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Millie (Herman) Daubert, Milwaukee, Judy (LeRoy) Frick, Merrill, Betty (Stanley) Williams and Marie Mueske, all of Ottawa, Ill., and Florine Krueger, Wausau; and two brothers, Kenneth (Ethel) Hoffman, Missouri, and Roger (Rose) Hoffman, Merrill.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Taylor & Stine Funeral Home in Merrill. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
