Mrs. Gordon Jaeger

Mrs. Gordon Jaeger, 34, Merrill Route 3, died about 12:30 a. m. Sunday in L' Anse, Mich., about a half hour after a two car auto accident on Highway 41 in L' Anse. She was along in the care at the time. She had been visiting relatives in L' Anse.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in Merrill. The Rev. Dale Kuck and the Rev. Larry Brumke (surname could be off) will officiate, with burial in Snow Hill Cemetery, Town of Scott. Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home in Merrill, from 2 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a. m. Wednesday, and at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.

The former Christine Kleinschmidt was born June 9, 1935, in Merrill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Kleinschmidt, 409 Maine St. She was married in Merrill, on June 1, 1967, to Gordon Jaeger, who survives.

A lifelong Merrill resident, she had been employed at the Woodworking Corp. of America plant in Merrill.

Surviving, besides her husband and parents, are a daughter, Judy J(unreadable), at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Erwin Koehler, 1508 Jackson St., Merrill, and Mrs. Dennis Krenzke, Milwaukee.
