Paul Fainter

Paul C. Fainter, 62, Merrill, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He served with the Screaming Eagles Airborne Division of the U.S. Army and was an over-the-road semi driver.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Fainter, Merrill; one son, Brad (Vicki) Morris, Pekin, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Brenda Johnas, Merrill, and Teri Burket, Des Moines, Iowa; two stepsons, Jim (Julie) Johnas and Rudy Johnas, all of Merrill; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Judy of St. Louis, Mo.; and two brothers, Richard Fainter and Ralph Fainter, both of Springfield, Ill.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery.

Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
