Connie Matthews

Connie J. (Emmanuel) Matthews, 57, Baudette, Minn., formerly of Merrill, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Lakewood Health Center, Baudette.

Connie worked at various locations as model designers of pre-cast concrete buildings in Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Matthews, Baudette; five children, Gerald Emmanuel Jr., Salol, Minn., Dion S. Emmanuel, Dallas, Tammy (Juan Martinez), Tyler, Texas, and Kim Emmanuel, Des Plaines, Ill., Calla Matthews, Tyler; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy (Jeff Oldenberg) Benzinger, Sarasota, Fla., and Barbara (Jerry) Burrow, Merrill; and three brothers, Leslie (Nancy) Weber Jr. and Bruce (Julie) Weber, all of Merrill, and Brian (Margaret) Weber, Sarasota.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Helgeson Funeral Chapel, Baudette.

Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, assisted the family with local arrangements.
