Edna F. Kudick, 79, of Merrill died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
Edna was born Sept. 17, 1924, in the town of Corning, daughter of the late Henry and Ernestina (Winter) Natzke. She married Vern Kudick on June 16, 1945, in the town of Corning. He preceded her in death April 9, 1985.
She had farmed with her late husband, Vern, in the town of Corning. Edna was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Ladies Aid and helped to make quilts. She enjoyed embroidering, baking chocolate chip cookies, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Norma (Larry) Baumann of Green Bay; two sons, Raymond Kudick and John (Sherry) Kudick, all of the town of Corning; eight grandchildren, Scott (Melissa), Brent (Jennifer), Kent (Tonya) and Kurt (Cathy Wilinski) Baumann, and Kenneth, Kari, Katie and Kyle Kudick; one great-granddaughter, Olivia Baumann; one sister, Esther Natzke of the town of Corning; three brothers, Arnold Natzke and Martin (LuEllen) Natzke, all of the town of Corning, and Harold (Ethel) Natzke, town of Scott; two sisters-in-law, Nora Kudick and Dorothy Natzke, both of Merrill; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Vern, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Frieda Natzke; and one brother, Erwin Natzke.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, with the Rev. David Klemm officiating. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the church.
