Edwin H. Beyer
Edwin "Sonny" H. Beyer, 74, Merrill, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at William S. Middleton Veteran's Hospital, Madison.
Sonny worked for the Rhinelander Paper Mill. He later worked as a self-employed logger until his retirement. Following his retirement, he worked for Polak's Maple Hollow. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Kevin) Sturm and Joy (Steve) Beckman, all of Merrill; one granddaughter; one sister, Lucille (Frank) Folta, Gleason; special friend, Gloria Beckman, Merrill; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason. Burial will be in Luther Memorial Cemetery, town of Schley. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill; and again from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
