Joyce Bushey, 75, Joyce M. Bushey, 75, Tripoli, died July 18, 2005, at her home.
She was born March 28, 1930, in Door County to the late Ralph and Dorothy Will. She was later married to James Bushey on Oct. 17, 1953, in Ellison Bay in Door County. She was a longtime resident of the Tripoli area. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Brantwood and had been very involved in the church. She loved having her children and grandchildren get together, where she enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with them. She also enjoyed listening to her children and grandchildren play music.
She is survived by her four children, Raymond (Monica), Tomahawk; Sherry (Will) Bright, and Ken, both of Tripoli; and Dean, Park Falls; by two sisters, Dottie (Dennis) Laaksonen and Joanne Ek, both of Door County; by eight grandchildren, Nick, Jackie, Craig, Dillon, Emma, Andy, Jamie, and Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband James on April 23, 2002, and by a sister Shirley Schultz in 1965.
A memorial service to celebrate her life was held July 20 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Pier-Willow, with Pastor Lee from Zion Lutheran Church, Brantwood, officiating.
Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, Tomahawk, assisted the family.
