Theodore Swan
Theodore "Ted" Swan, 68, 1228 Swan Ave., Tomahawk, died Wednesday, July 29, 2005, under hospice care at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
Ted served in the National Guard. He worked at Tomahawk Cash and Carry for 25 years, and Pukall Lumber Co. in Woodruff for 14 years, retiring in 1999. Ted also served as a part-time police officer for the Tomahawk Police Department for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie (Hinz) Swan, Tomahawk; four daughters, Debbie (Vance) Kapalczynski, Oregon, Wis., Dottie (Kerry) Preston, Abilene, Texas, Dana (Lee) Theiler and Rachael (Randy) White, all of Tomahawk; two brothers, Joseph (Loretta) Swan, Tomahawk, and Edwin (Kathy) Swan, Waupun; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery in the town of Skanawan. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.
Krueger & Sons Funeral Home of Tomahawk is assisting the family with arrangements.
