Harry Evans

Harry Evans, 92, town of Spirit, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at his home under the care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.

He operated a dairy farm in the town of Spirit for 30 years. Harry also drove school buses for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred (Rogers) Evans, town of Spirit; three sons, Jerry (Winnie) Evans, Wausau, William (Darlene) Evans, town of Spirit, and John (Roxanne) Evans, Brantwood; one daughter, Elizabeth Seidel, Fall Creek; one son-in-law, Jim Gahnz, Mesa, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lucille Evans, Tomahawk; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spirit United Methodist Church in the town of Spirit. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in the town of Spirit (Price County). Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake and will begin again at 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the church.
