Neiland Doucette

Neiland "Nocky" R. Doucette, 85, 2418 Jersey Lane, Tomahawk, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in the palliative care unit.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a maintenance supervisor for Owens-Illinois Paper Mill in Tomahawk for 35 years, retiring in 1984.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Doucette, Tomahawk; nine children, Tom Doucette, John Doucette, Jeanne (Bill) Grodevant, Sue Doucette and Jude (Mike) Stevenson, all of Tomahawk, Robert (Beth) Doucette, Ringle, Dan (Barb) Doucette, St. Germain, Carol (Charles) Jensen, St. Croix Falls, and Bill (Jane) Doucette, Iowa City, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Uzzel of Wilmington, N.C., and Ila Mae (Roger) Paulson, Tomahawk.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tomahawk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, Tomahawk, and will begin again at 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

*Birth date was taken from the SSDI. In the originial obituary first name was spelled Neiland, it should be Nieland.
