Wallace D. Hansen

Wallace D. Hansen, born Jan. 5, 1924, left this earth to go to the other side on Aug. 7, 2005, leaving behind his lovely wife, Evelyn; three sons, Wally Jr. (Mary Ellen) of Madison, David (Mary Ann) of Ashippun and Mark (Sharie) of Sun Prairie; eight grandchildren, Bradley Hansen, Lanette Hansen, Karin Hansen, Eric (Mindy) Hansen, Corey (Danielle) Hansen, Brenda (Ryan) Lauersdorf, Rachel (Shawn) Powell and Matthew Hansen.

Wally is further survived by five great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Carolyn (Tidd) Hansen; two sisters, Lois and Ruth; and one brother, Arthur “Bill”.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Tomahawk.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be designated to the Covenant Church.

Krueger and Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk is assisting the family.
