John C. Vander Voort

John C. Vander Voort, 77, N11445 Highway A, Tomahawk, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at his home.

John was a production manager for Owens-Illinois for 20 years and retired from the Marathon County Parks Department in 1992.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Vander Voort, Tomahawk; two sons, Jay J. Vander Voort, Merrill, and Ray J. Vander Voort, New Hartford, N.Y.; three daughters, Beverly A. (Elroy) Raasch and Darlyn Vander Voort, all of Merrill, and Mary Lou (Mike) Weigand, Mosinee; two brothers, Albert (Olga) Vander Voort, Jacksonville, Fla., and Donald (Sandy) Vander Voort, Monterey, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk and will begin again at 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. A parish vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Ministry Home Care Hospice Program.
