Lloyd Boyd

Lloyd J. Boyd, 69, Merrill, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Lloyd worked for the Lincoln County Highway Department for more than 30 years. He served with the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Boyd, Merrill; nine daughters, Shirley (David) D'Amico, Brenda (Gary Seiler) Busterud, Lisa (Greg) Barrett and Sheila (Rick) Graap, all of Merrill, Dena Boyd, Tammy (Mike) Ritchie and Paula Boyd, all of Wausau; Teresa (Randy Archiquette) Hass, Fremont, and Laura (John) Osero, Tomahawk; five sons, Michael (Patti) Boyd, Scott Boyd, Shawn Boyd and Todd Boyd, all of Merrill, and Kenneth (Doris) Boyd, Waukesha; 48 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Boyd, Madison, and Rita (Don) Starr, Tomahawk; and five brothers, Wilbert (Ceil) Boyd and Dean Boyd, all of Merrill, Gale Boyd, Oxford, Dale (Sally) Boyd, Hot Springs, Ark., and Harold Boyd, Poplar Grove, Ill.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Full military honors will be provided by Post No. 1638 Schmitt-Manecke-Donner.
