Robert Handzik

Robert J. Handzik, 67, N10140 E. Shady Shore Road, Tomahawk, and Chicago, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, as a result of a house fire.

Robert served in the U.S. Army, and retired from the Chicago Park District in 1996.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie (Gnutek) Handzik, Chicago; one daughter, Rochelle (Greg) Pupchik, Frankfort, Ill.; two sons, Robert James Handzik and Russell Handzik, both of Chicago; one sister, Dolores (John) Malloy, Orland Park, Ill.; and two granddaughters.

Private graveside services will be held today at Bethany Cemetery in Irma.

Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, Tomahawk, is assisting the family.
