Joseph L. Dorgan, 79, Gleason, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Tomahawk.
Joe was a machinist for 35 years at Danley Machine Corp., Cicero, Ill. He dairy farmed for a number of years, and retired from Semling-Menke in 1991. Joe served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Gawlik) Dorgan, Merrill; one daughter, Mary Jo (Stanley) Gustin, Becker, Minn.; three sons, Tom Dorgan, Rio Dioso, N.M., Mick (Linda) Dorgan, Gleason, and Joe (Patty) Dorgan, Merrill; two brothers, Robert (Anna) Dorgan, Oak Park, Ill., and Eugene Dorgan, Berwyn, Ill.; and eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting with arrangements.
