Wayne Egelkrout
Wayne W. Egelkrout, 87, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and was employed at Owens-Illinois for 45 years, retiring in 1982.
Survivors include four daughters, Lois (Neal) Leggett, Judy (Jerry) Schoone and Susie (Marvin) Callahan, all of Tomahawk, and JoAnn Malbone, Weston; two sons, Daryl Egelkrout Tomahawk and John (Marissa) Egelkrout, Fridley, Minn.; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ida Beth Johnson, Fort Worth, Texas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at the church. A veterans memorial service will precede the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tomahawk Special Olympics.
Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk is in charge of arrangements.
