Thomas De Vall, contractor and builder, Merrill. Came directed to this place in June, 1880, from Europe. He was born in Herefordshire, England, April 28, 1874, and there learned his trade. He lived in various portions of the Southwest for eleven years, then returned to Europe on a visit, remaining two years, after which he came to Merrill. He was married in England, November, 1878, to Beatrice Yapp, who was born in England, in 1852.
