Parkers Funeral Held on Sunday Afternoon

Kaukauna – Funeral services for Anthony Parker, 25, were held Sunday afternoon at the home on Ninth Street and were conducted by the Rev. Henry S. Gatley of the Episcopal church of Appleton. Burial was in the Union Cemetery.

Mr. Parker died at 6:30 Thursday morning after an illness of several months. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parker and one brother, Bertran all of this city. He was born at Merrill on Jan. 21, 1902. In 1910 he moved with his family to Montana where he graduated from a high school and attended a state teacher’s college for one year. Thirteen years were spent in Montana, and then he came to Kaukauna where he lived for the last four years. He taught school two years in Montana and one year in Wisconsin.

The bearers were Wilmer Parker, Kenneth Parker of Fond du Lac. Glen Ruggles, Gilbert Kellit of Fond du Lac, Walter and Roland Parker of Appleton.

Henry Roach, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Brough and daughter Leona, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Parker, Mrs. Ralph Mortimer, all of Chilton; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Parker, Mrs. John Hamen, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Hamen and Stephen Schumisch, all of Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Keller of Neenah; Mr. and Mrs. Myron Powell and Lester Powell of Stockbridge; Joseph Woods of Stockbridge; Mr. and Mrs. A. Parker of Wrightstown; Mr. Amherst of Elmira; Mr. and Mrs. A. Parker of Fond du Lac; Mrs. A. Kellert of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. David Davis, Mr.. and Mrs. John Krueger, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Diedrich, Mrs. Antone Mayers, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Parker and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Parker, all of Fond du Lac.
