Lorenz R. Krause

Lorenz R. Krause, 83, of N1837 Highway M, Merrill, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill.

Lorenz was a dairy farmer in the town of Corning.

Survivors include his wife, Lavine L. (Grunenwald) Krause, Merrill; two sons, Dale Krause and Gene (Claudia) Krause, both of Merrill; one grandson; three sisters, Phyllis (LaVerne) Kottke, Athens, Sylvia Sturm, Wausau, and Lavila (Elroy) Schmidt, Merrill; and two brothers, Gilbert (Phyllis) Krause, Merrill, and Edgar (Imogene) Krause, Wausau.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Stephens United Church of Christ in Merrill. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park in Merrill. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home in Merrill and again at 10 a.m. the church.

**Note -- Lorenz was the son of John & Anna (Koehler) Krause. Birth date was taken from the family data base.
