Mrs. Roy (Helene Krause) Lewerenz
Mrs. Helene Ann Marie Lewerenz, 82, route two, who for the past few months made her home at the Golden Age Home, died Tuesday at 9 p.m. in Sacred Heart hospital.
Mrs. Lewerenz was born July 27, 1887 in Kleptow, Germany to Herman and Marie Krause and was married to the late Roy Lewerenz in Tomahawk on June 9, 1909.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ (First Congregational) and the Women’s Fellowship of the church.
Survivors are a son, Harold, Palmer, Alaska; two daughters, Mrs. A. E. (Vida) Schlising, Tomahawk, and Mrs. Olaf (Clarice) Mickelson, Okemos, Mich.; a brother, William Krause, Palmer, Alaska; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ellis, a brother and a sister. Services will be tomorrow (Friday) at 1:30 p.m. in the Congregational church with the Rev. W. Clark Williams officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at Nick and Sons funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 11 a.m. Friday until the service.
