Mrs. Anton (Vida Lewerenz) Schlising

Vida Schlising, 82, formerly of N10808 Hwy. A, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1993, at Riverview Terrace Nursing Home.

She was born June 22, 1911, in Tomahawk and was married June 16, 1936, to Anton Schlising, also of Tomahawk. He died in 1987.

Mrs. Schlising was a graduate of the Lincoln County Normal School and taught grade school at the former Gilbert and Nash schools. She was a member of the Hiawatha Homemakers club and the First Congregational Church.

Surviving are two sons, Donald (Sharyn), Tomahawk, and Dr. Robert Schlising, Chico, Calif.; one sister, Clarice (Olaf) Mickelson, Lula, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Congregational Church, Tomahawk, with Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery. Krueger and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
