Funeral services were held Friday in the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Tomahawk, for Antone E. Schlising, 86, of N10808 Highway A, Tomahawk. Mr. Schlising, who died last Tuesday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Tomahawk, owned and operated Schlising Brothers Sheet Metal from 1946 to 1966.

The Rev. Kay Kennard officiated at the services. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Krueger and Sons Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Schlising was born March 12, 1901 in the Town of King to Stanislaus and Marie Schlising. He was married to Vida Lewerenz on June 16, 1936 in Tomahawk.

Mr. Schlising formerly worked for Rhinelander Paper Co. and later taught vocational school sheet metal courses. In 1941-45, he worked at the shipyards in Duluth-Superior.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Donald, Tomahawk, and Robert, Chico, Calif.; a brother, Otto, Williams Bay; and four grandchildren.
