Mr. Herbert H. Schmidt

Herbert H. Schmidt, 69, Pine Crest, passed away Tuesday after an illness of 10 years.

He was born October 20, 1900, in the Town of Scott to Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt. He was a laborer for the Lincoln County Highway Dept., and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by three daughters Mrs. Renatus Krause, Town of Maine, Mrs. Michael Comella, Melbourne, Fla. and Mrs. Eugene Luedtke, Town of Maine; and son James Schmidt, 404 Cottage Street, Merrill; one brother Edwin Schmidt, Town of Corning; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 11 at 1:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Schuls officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Town of Scott.

The family will receive friends at the Taylor Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday until 10:00 a.m. Friday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services at the church.
