Arnold H. Zemke, 89, of 601 E. First St., Merrill, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at his home under Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He was employed with the city of Merrill Water Department for 25 years, retiring in 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Zemke, Merrill; one daughter Glynis (Mike) Schroeder, Merrill; one son, Scott, Merrill; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ in Merrill. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery in the town of Scott. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home in Merrill is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ or the charity of your choice.
