Hudson, Dorothy Mae

Dorothy Mae Hudson 80, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at Methodist Hospital after an accident. She was a resident of Greenwood. She was born May 16, 1924, in Grand Haven, Michigan. Her parents were Benjamin and Clara (Kraft) Tietz. She married Bob Hudson on November 6, 1973. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Patrcia A. (Jerry) Backer of Greenwood; one son, Bruce E. (Yueh) Piercy of Plamdale, CA.; three step-sons, Roger (Sandy) Hudson of McCordsville, IN; Richard Hudson of Florida and Rodney Hudson of Indianapolis; a brother, Dale (Kathy) Tietz of Madison, WI; grandchildren, John and Kim Garver; James A. Muesing; Angela and Gabriel Schritter; Angela M. Taylor; Jason Hudson; Julie Fisher; Kyle Husdon; Wendy Weatherford; Wen-Cheng Chen; Bobby Hudson; Jennifer Hudson; Amber Hudson; Robin Hudson and Tracy Hudson; great-grandchildren, Lauren; Kelsi; Morgan; Nicholas; Emily; Ashley; Blake; Drew; Daniel; Audrey; Caleb; Luke and Grace.

Dorothy's greatest joy in life was spending time with her great-grandchildren who affectionately called her "Nenee". She was a 1942 graduate of Merrill High School, Merrill, WI. She was employed for 30 years by Real Estate as a Real Estate Agent, having retired in 1980. Dorothy also worked at L.S. Ayres for 10 years as a sales associate.

Arrangements are being handled by Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St.. Friends may call from 4:00 PM - 8:00PM Friday at the funeral home.
