Shirley Mae Keen, 76, died Sunday at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

Born in Tomahawk, Wis., Mrs. Keen lived in Hemet 15 years. She was a seamstress at Fabric King in Bellflower for 15 years. Mrs. Keen was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Hemet.

She is survived by two sons, Martin of Hemet and Daniel of Elk Grove; a grandchild; two brothers, David Adams of Artesia and John Adams of Chula Vista; and a sister, Betty Jorstad of Illinois.

Graveside services will be at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at Riverside National Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet.
