Geraldine Langhoff

Geraldine (Geri) M. Langhoff, 73 of Oshkosh died Saturday April 23, 2005 at Encore Senior Living with her family at her side. She was born June 17, 1931 to Edwin and Irene Bade Lemke. On July 8, 1950 she married Louis L. Langhoff Jr. her beloved husband of 54 years in Merrill, WI.

She enjoyed camping when she and Louis were younger, flower gardening, dancing, traveling, canning, and cooking. Her holiday meals were always something the family looked forward to. Her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Geraldine was strong in her faith and a member at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Louis of Oshkosh, two sons Rick (Kathy) Langhoff of Menasha, Rod (Kim) Langhoff of Oshkosh, one daughter Lisa (Jeff) Hinn of Oshkosh. She is further survived by one brother Alan (Florence) Lemke of Green Bay, and two sisters Beverly (Ron) Hintz of Oak Creek, and Judy (Bill) Hass of Tomahawk, and five grandchildren Stacy Langhoff, Stephanie (Jim) Genz, Michael Langhoff, Cody and Bryce Hinn, and two great- grandchildren Courtney Langhoff, and Christian Bettin. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harlan Lemke.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Lidtke and Rev. Walter Moll officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2005 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-West from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.

The family would like to thank the staff at Encore Senior Living and Aurora Hospice for the wonderful care, love, and compassion they showed our mother, and grandmother during her illness.
