Will of Levi Butterfield WILL OF LEVI BUTTERFIELD DATED MARCH 31, 1835 (Found in Jefferson County, NY Records) The last will and testament of Levi Butterfield of the town of LeRoy, County of Jefferson and state of New York. I, Levi Butterfield, considering th uncertaity of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and public this my last will and testament in the manner and form following: First, I give & bequeath and devise unto all my daughter, Jerusha Butterfield, one fifth part of all my Estate both real & personal. I give and devise unto all my children now living (except the said Jerusha) all the remaining of my Estate both real & personal to be equally divided amongst them share & share alike. And I do hereby appoint my son Levi Butterfield Jr. And my son William K. Butterfield, Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand & seal the thirty-first day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred & Thirty Five. Signed, sealed, published and ordered Levi Butterfield by the above named Levi Butterfield to be his last will & testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subcribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testor & in the presence of each other.
