While greasing his onmibus, the ruffian stepped behind him and struck him on the head with a large piece of stone, inflicting a dangerous wound. Understand the would be murderer kicked and beat him in a brutal manner while he was lying on the ground. Mr. Judd says he never had an angry word with the man, and can assign no reason for his actions.
