A Story of The Bethphage Mission
at
Axtell, Nebraska
A Home for "THEM THAT ARE IN BONDS."
FIRST EDITION, DECEMBER, 1944
A new booklet is herewith appearing which will retell the story of the Bethphage Mission. This is done for reasons that will be understood by those who read it. The compiler does wish to state that much of the source material was found in the Swedish language and it was thought should be used while it is more readily understood. Some of the contemporaries of the founder are still alive and they have been interviewed to get a true picture of the early history of the Mission.A special word of gratitude goes to Dr. George A. Fahlund for his life story of Pastor K. C. William Dahl. He was a classmate and intimate friend of the founder and his contribution will be highly appreciated by our readers. My personal thanks are hereby expressed to Prof. C. T. Ryan of Kearney State Teachers College for his willingness to read and correct the manuscript; also to Mr. Oscar Warp, the publisher, for valuable suggestions and inspiration.
All material found in the booklet was written by the undersigned unless otherwise acknowledged.
