PHILENA B. CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White9) was born May 17, 1852, at Binghamton, N. Y. When twelve years of age came to Wyoming, Iowa, with her parents. Married Josiah M. Swigart of Maquoketa, Ia., and lived there in 1926. Mr. Swigart passed away November 30, 1904, at San Antonio, Texas, buried at Maquoketa. Children:

FRANCES AUGUSTA CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White9) was born October 16, 1853, at Binghamton, N. Y. Died May 11, 1895, at Omaha, Nebr. Married at Wyoming, Iowa, Charles Emery Gard, born September 13, 1843, at Newark, N. J. He enrolled in Company 3, 11th Reg. Infantry N. J. volunteers and was discharged at the close of the war. He took part in thirteen hard fought battles, one of which was Gettysburg. After the war he settled at Wyoming, Iowa, later moving to Omaha. Occupation, contractor. He died November 5, 1924, at Milford, Nebr. Children:

JANETT AMORY CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White') was born November 17, 1856, at Binghamton, N. Y. Married in 1878 at Wyoming, Iowa, Frederick Hodgeman Foote, who was born in 1854 at Port Henry, N. Y., son of Wallace and Hilah E. Foote, After finishing grammar school at New Haven, Conn., he went four years to Sheffield Scientific School at Yale University. He became an iron manufacturer and held many responsible positions, among them, vice-president for thirteen years of the Illinois Steel Co. of Chicago. He passed away it (sic) Sarasota, Fla., in October, 1924. His wife died in August, 1917. Children:

RUFUS AMROY CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White9) was born May 29, 1858, at Binghamton, N. Y. Came to Wyoming, Iowa, with his parents in 1864. Married March 19, 1880, at Jamestown, Wis., Settie A. Lillie. Influenced by his uncle, Ben White, he went to Clarenden, Texas, in 1887 and was associated with him there in the mercantile business and in real state. He died December 18, 1924, at that place, where his widow still resides. Children:

Went with his uncle, Benjamin Horton White, in 1885 to Clarenden, Texas, where he acquired considerable property. His wife was Katheryn Lewis. He died December 19, 1921, and is buried at Clarenden. Children:

JOSEPHINE LESTER CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White9) was born July 17, 1868, at Wyoming, Iowa. Married in Chicago, where she was an instructor in music, William Pitt Riley, a grocery merchant at Port Arthur, Canada. He later became a salesman and at present (1926) is president of the Western Wholesale Grocery Co., of Canada, at Winnipeg, where he and his son and daughter live at 303 Wellington Cresent. They were married October 9, 1895, and she died May 21, 1921. Children:

Occupation, exporting lumber. During the World War he served the government in selecting and obtaining lumber for airplanes. Address in 1926 Gainsville, Ga. One child:

HALYCON GILBERT BAILY (Tamar Parmelia Lyon9) was born April 2, 1873, and educated at Wilbraham Academy at Wilbraham, Mass. Married September 16, 1902, at Brewster, N. Y., Anna L. Hine, born at Brewster February 16, 1875, daughter of George Hine and Josephine Foster. She was educated at Nassau Institute, a boarding school in Brooklyn. She later finished at Riverside School in New York City. Six years after their marriage they moved to Danbury, Conn., where they lived (1926) at No. 11 Park Ave. Children:

These are the fourth and fifth generations of this family living on this old farm, an ancestor, Joseph Baily, living there in 1740. Children:

Eliza Jane Brazelton, wife of Samuel Culbertson, died April 21,
1925, aged 92 years, 8 months, 12 days at
Omaha, Nebraska.
This Bible contains the Aprocrypha, a Concordance, Old and New Testaments, Chapter "Ezdras", and signed by John Brown, late minister of the gospel at Haddington, in Scotland. Alexander's Stereotype Edition, now in the possession of Mrs. Elizabeth Gaylord Rathburn.
