C. R. WALKER.C. R. WALKER, member of the house of representatives from the sixty-seventh district, comprising Hitchcock, Dundy, Hayes, and Chase counties, is a member of the Peoples' Independent party. He is a merchant, resides at Benkleman in Dundy county, was born in Missouri in the year 1860, and came to Nebraska from that state in 1888. 'He is married and has an interesting family of five children, four girls and one boy. Mr. Walker has never before held public office. |
EZRA M. WARING.EZRA M. WARING is one of the Fusion members of the house of representatives from Holt county, the fiftieth district, and was born in New York state, August 18, 1848, coming to Nebraska from Iowa in the year 1880. He married Genie Bruce, August 19, 1873. They have four children, two boys and two girls. Mr. Waring is a farmer by occupation, and his present address is Middle Branch, Holt county. He was member of the board of county commissioners for two terms in that county. This is his first legislative experience. |
CHARLES J. WARNER.CHARLES J. WARNER, one of the members of the lower house from Lancaster county, the thirtieth representative district, is a Republican and was born near Waverly, Lancaster county, Nebraska, March 29, 1875. He is engaged in farming and unmarried. Mr. Warner graduated from the State University in the year 1899. |
ANDREW J. WATSON.ANDREW J. WATSON, is the Fusion member of the lower house from Cedar and Pierce counties, the nineteenth representative district. He was born at Fox Island, Mich., in 1852, and located in Nebraska in the spring of 1880, coming from Wisconsin. He lives in Coleridge, Cedar county, where he is engaged in the newspaper business; is married and has one daughter, fourteen years of age. Mr. Watson has never held public office before being elected to the present legislative session. |
J. F. WENZL.J. F. WENZL, one of Pawnee county's representatives, is a Republican and was born in Austria, July 15, 1857, coming to America and settling in Nebraska in the year 1867. Mr. Wenzl represented the second district in the house two years ago. He is a farmer, and his present address is Tate, Pawnee county. His family consists of a wife and eight children, five boys and three girls. He was formerly county commissioner of his home county. |
JOHN A. WHITMORE.JOHN A. WHITMORE is the Republican member of the house of representatives from Hamilton county, the forty-first district. He was born July 20, 1850, and came to Nebraska from LaSalle county, Illinois. Was married to Miss Maud L. Jenks, who died in November, 1886, leaving three daughters. Mr. Whitmore is a lawyer by profession in the town of Aurora, Hamilton county. He has been county attorney of Hamilton county and has been a member of the school board. |
