
WILLIAM THOMSSEN.
WILLIAM THOMSSEN, who is one of the
representatives from Hall county, the forty-seventh
district, belongs to the Peoples' Independent party; is a
native of Nebraska, having been born in Hall county,
November 7, 1862. He is a single man and engaged in farming
and stock-raising. Mr. Thomssen was treasurer of Hall county
for two years before being elected to the twenty-seventh
session of the Nebraska Legislature.

ROBERT TWEED.
ROBERT TWEED, representative from
Thayer county, the thirty-fifth district, was born in Lake
county, Illinois, November 18, 1855, and came to this state
in the year 1885. He resides in Davenport, Thayer county,
and is engaged in the general merchandise business. His
family consists of wife and six children, one boy and five
girls. Mr. Tweed has never before held public office, and
was elected to the twenty-seventh session of the Nebraska
Legislature on the Republican ticket.
