Seated next to John is his half sister Belle Martin (a teacher in KS).

I am unsure who the other 3 are as son Elmer did not marry until after Ethel, in 1905;

it may be one of John's 3 half-brothers and family.

He married CATHERINE HENRY NEELY^{9, 10, 11, 12} 09 Jan 1840 in <Charlestown>, Clark or Orange Co., IN^{13, 14}, daughter of SAMUEL NEELY. She was born 26 Dec 1825 in Sullivan Co, TN^{15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22}, and died 09 Jan 1903 in Barnes, Little Blue Twp., Washington Co KS^{23, 24, 25, 26}.

John Henry Williams was born to this union in April 1841, just a few months before the death of his father William.

4 children were born to that marriage: Albert J Martin , Isabella "Belle" Martin, Leander Martin, and John Frank "J.F.".

By the spring of 1872 he was joined by his wife Amanda Emmaline (Martin) and child along with her parents Lewis &Phebe (Skelton) Martin and 4 of their other adult children and their families.

I have checked our records and we do not have any baptisms dating back to the 1890's. I also checked with the Thayer County Clerk and she stated that the records they have do not show anything for a Ethelena Maud (Williams) Adams. In the mid-1950's there was a tornado that came through Hebron damaging the Courthouse and destroying the Christian Church on Fifth and Olive. Many records were probably lost at that time. The Courthouse was repaired and the Church rebuilt..
