Also wrote that they had three basketball teams that year......The Prisoners,Warriors,and Gumps.

"Our motto was The Prisoner Gang, Watch us when we break out! Gee! We had keen times, us Prisoners!"

Some members of the teams were Helen Carter 9th grade, Mercy Hart 12th grade, Alice Wenzl 11th grade, Lucille Robb 10th grade, Margaret Bstandig 11th grade, Effie Neely 9th grade.

"We wore blue bloomers and shirts and stripped stockings,sometimes striped sweaters."

They won every game except one that year, by 2 points!
