starts with James ESTLE and Deborah
(PEARCE) who came to OH from NJ ca 1818
with Deborah's family (Job and Elizabeth

and Sarah MEDSKER). John Wesley's parents
were: John Roland Rogers (08 Jan 1833-15
Dec 1871) who m. Cynthia A. SELPH (31 Jul
1835-28 Apr 1914). Cynthia SELPH was
remarried to Danial Tharp after John Roland's
death at age 38. John Wesley was listed under
the Tharp residence in the 1880 census. Two
of his siblings were: Joseph (04 Oct 1855-01
Dec 1885) and William A (1868-1899). Any

ROBERTS, RUBLE: My ggrandmother's bible
lists a marriage between a Louie/louise/louisa
E. Roberts and William K. Ruble, at
William's home, on Dec 27, 1888. Elder J.W.
Ruble was pastor, Alfred Roberts and Frank
S. Ruble were witnesses. Louie was born Apr
18, 1866 and William was born Jun 11, 1862.
They had a daughter, Bessie Gladys Ruble,
born Mar 24, 1891. I have been researching
my ROBERTS lineage and am unable to
identify this Louie or Alfred, much less any of
the RUBLE names. If anyone knows about
them please contact me.
