| THOSE WHO WERE NOT SHOT CAME BACK TO REST CAMPSometimes the rest camps were far enough back of the lines to make rest and relaxation possible. However, most of the "rest time" was spent in trying to find a piece of woods that was not occupied by another outfit. These men seem to have found a spot where they could recuperate.
