THE RAINBOWCompany H, 167th Inf., 42nd (Rainbow) Div., in dugouts near Rheims. On the defensive, they prevented capture of Rheims, took the offensive on the 26th. Two men were killed by enemy shells five minutes after photo was taken.

"ONE HELUVA BUSINESS"On the 26th, the 42nd Div. seized Croix Rouge Farm, and crossed Ourcq River. July 29th, aided by the 4th Div. units, they captured Sergy, Meurcy Farm, Seringes-et-Nesles, advancing on the 30th to Foret de Nesles and beyond Sergy.
