| SHORE LEAVEA few of the 600,000 Americans engaged in naval activities during the war. This boatload of "gobs" is from the United States Cruiser Melville, flagship of the fleet of destroyers stationed at Queenstown, Ireland. Many of these boys are of Irish descent and are now off to see their ancestral homes.
