WHAT REMAINED OF THE LOST BATTALION

The Lost Battalion held out without food, drink, or medical care for the wounded, from Oct. 2 until 9 P.M., Oct. 7, when connection with the division was re-established. During this time, the detachment of 750 men, lost 498. |
